- لا يحتاج هذه الصفحة الأسماء الألمانية لكل لغة (ولو كان في حاجة إلى أسماء أجنبية، للإنجليزية أو الفرنسية مستعمل أكثر في العالم العربي).
- لا يستعمل كلمة الهندوجرمانية لا عند الأنجلوسكسون ولا في فرنسا ولا في يابان ولا في روسيا، بل في ألمانيا فقط.
- وجدت في كل قواميس اللسانيات أن اسم Welsh بالعربية "الويلزية"، وكذالك Gaelic الغالية. ومن المعروف أن Zarathustra زردشت. والحتية مذكورة في التوراة حيث يسمى الحتية وليس "الهيتية".
- من المهم أن تعمل علاقات بين المقالات باستعمال [[ ]].
ولهذا عدلت المقالة. لم أجد الترجمة الصحيحة لكلات Tocharisch وLatino-Faliskisch وOskisch-Umbrisch بعد، لكن لا أزال أبحث. - مصطفى 20:51, 30 مارس 2005 (UTC)
[تحرير] Naming Proto-Indo-European in Arabic
How is Proto-Indo-European (PIE) called in Arabic? Where in Arabic Wikipedia is article about Proto-Indo-European language itself (not about Indo-European languages, but about Proto-Indo-European language itself?) I need this info to proper link interwiki Arabic article to this Italian Proto Indo European article: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indoeuropeo Please answer quickly, because I don't know Arabic and I can't locate this PIE article in Arabic Wikipedia. For all other languages I succeeded in localizing relevant PIE articles. I recently accidentally discovered that in Arabic:
proto (بادئه الكلم- ه) بادئه تعني : أول أو بدائي protolanguage (الاسم) لغه أوليه أو بدائيه Indo-European الهندية الأوربية

I've been searching for this term on the Internet but I couldn't find it. I guess in Arabic it should be called لغات هندية أوروبية بدائية (or أولية). No one has written an article about it yet. —MK (talk) 08:26, 28 فبراير 2007 (UTC)
