- Hmmm, almost all Bangla newspapers in Bangladesh use the spelling শচীন. I am not sure if it is because the commonly used Bangla first name is শচীন, or because we Bengalis pronounce almost everything with "sh" :) --রাগিব (আলাপ | অবদান) ২২:৫৪, ২৭ আগস্ট ২০০৬ (UTC)

- Grammatically শচীন is probably more correct (শচি+ইন্দ্র= শচীন্দ্র -->শচীন? I dont know if সচিন has a different potential derivation). রমেশ again should be with শ (রমা+ঈশ) in Bangla(I dont know what he writes).
