Ştefan Vasilache

Ştefan Vasilache (born May 9, 1979) is a Romanian athlete competing in high jump.
His personal best is 2.30m, and he usually jumps in the range between 2.25 – 2.27. In the 2004 IAAF World Indoor Championships, 2.25 was enough to secure a surprising bronze medal alongside Jaroslav Bába and Germaine Mason who achieved the same result.
He jumped 2.25 in the 2004 Olympics too, but with such a result he was knocked out in the qualification round.
