[edit] Drawback
This template doesn't provide possibility to indicate different reign and coronation dates and places for Polish monarchs that were also Grand Dukes of Lithuania. I suggest to add hidden parameters
| reign_gdl_start=
| reign_gdl_end=
| coronation_gdl_date=
| coronation_gdl_place=

- I don't think it is really needed, just like I'm not sure that duplicate of this template is needed. Firstly, was there a separate coronation in Lithuania? The Grand Duke was not a king, so he could not have been crowned. Or am I wrong? Secondly, if we include the title of Grand Duke, then why not Prince of Siewierz? And what about other titles held by the king? Thirdly, you have a point in that some monarchs were indeed Grand Dukes much earlier or later than they became kings. In such situation it might be nice to have the info in the infobox as well. On the other hand including information on coronation in every single land of the Commonwealth when it happened in the same month is a no-no to me. I'd say KISS. //Halibutt 11:04, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- Huh, it seems to me that you're tryng to impose POV, that Grand Duchy was a merely province of Poland. But it wasn't.--Lokyz 16:58, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Question
Why is a separate template required for Polish monarchs? Is it because of the "election" fields? Appleseed (Talk) 16:31, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
