John O'Neill (jazz teacher)

John O'Neill is an active performing jazz musician and instrumental teacher. He studied the saxophone whilst a student of Modern Languages at Trinity College, Oxford. He plays the soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones, as well as flute and clarinet. He studied woodwind instruments with Don Rendell and improvisation with Lee Konitz, Warne Marsh and Peter Ind.
He is a freelance musician and composer for dance, theatre and film and the author of "The Jazz Method for Saxophone", with several variants for flute, clarinet and trumpet.
