[edit] Goa'uld personalities
Goa'uld symbiotes are then implanted in the body. However, each of these symbiotes is biologically inferior to typical Goa'uld symbiotes. Normal symbiotes have a genetic memory, which grants them all of the collective knowledge of the Goa'uld in addition to their typically greedy, power-hungry, and egotistical personality traits. These do not. The queens which spawned these symbiotes were acting in collusion with Anubis. Using a technique developed by Egeria during the Pangaran experiments on her, they suppress the genetic memories in order to make the warriors pliant and hence totally loyal to their master.
The typical personality traits are a direct result of the genetic memory, not something unique to Goa'uld species, this will be changed to something neutral.
[edit] Genetic memory (epusodes 'Evolution' 1 & 2, season 7)
The following assertions seem to be incorrect:
"Anubis erased this genetic memory, then implanted only the knowledge, ideas, and beliefs which Anubis wanted them to have. This made them completely loyal and in complete belief that Anubis was a God."
Specifically- according to the 'Evolution' episodes, and hearkening back to the first appearance of a Goa'uld 'mother' (I forget the name of the episode...somewhere in season 6, I think), the 'mother' is the one responsible for choosing whether her symbiote spawn possess the genetic memory of the Goa'uld.

[edit] Armor
I just saw the episode where Tel'c and Bre'tac encounter the first Kull (Evolution). Teal'c manages to disbale it with a flurry of Zat shots. PrometheusX303 23:07, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
- I guess it pay to watch the entire episode. Teal'c didn't bring it down. It succumbed to heart failure. PrometheusX303 23:14, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
