[edit] Is Sam anorexic?
Could she be the first of the Doctor's comopanions to suffer from the eating disorder? I mean, she is described in The Eight Doctors as being wiry and thin at length, and perhaps it's worth noting. NP Chilla 12:25, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- People can be thin without being anorexic. Is there anything that actually says she's anorexic? --khaosworks (talk • contribs) 13:30, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

- Well, it's been a couple of years since I read the novel The Eight Doctors, but I distinctly remember that the slimness of the girl was very much discussed at length during her introductory passage (a là The Doctor's garlic breath in World Game); and the Doctor Who Magazine Special: The Complete Eighth Doctor mentions, in a section by Matt Michael, that she is "Paper-thin", and gives the general impression that this could be a disorder of some sort. - Ummm, that's the problem. "General impression" is so subjective. I would really have to read the exact context to see how strong the implication is before I can offer an opinion either way. Failing that, I'd suggest erring on the conservative side of verifiability, i.e. don't mention it. --khaosworks (talk • contribs) 16:48, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dark Sam
Dark Sam, whom he found living as a drug addict in a London bedsit.
ICBW, but my memory is that, while Dark Sam had drugs experience, she wasn't an addict. There was a key point in Unnatural History where her history changed so that she was, and she was very different from the "standard" Dark Sam. Daibhid C 22:03, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
