Sean Murray (born November 15, 1977) is an American actor. He is known for playing Timothy McGee on the television drama NCIS, and Danny Walden on the military drama JAG.

Murray was born in Bethesda, Maryland. His other television credits include a starring role in the UPN sitcom The Random Years and a supporting role in Harts of the West. He has made several television guest appearances on shows such as ER. In addition, Murray has appeared in several feature films including Hocus Pocus, This Boy's Life, and another starring role in Todd Field's Too Romantic.

Murray is the step-son of Donald Bellisario, NCIS' producer. Sean's mother, Vivienne, is Belissario's current (and 4th) wife[citation needed].
