[edit] Dialogue question
From episode 1
Barbara: "It's a pity you don't have colour television."
The Doctor: "Oh, but I have!"
Barbara: "Well, where is it then?"
The Doctor: "Well, at the moment, it's, ah, temporarily, ah, fait accompli."
Is it fait accompli or something else? Thanks. Proteus71 20:10, 18 Apr 2006 (UTC)
- It's some kind of Billy fluff and I honestly can't make it out. It's definitely not fait accompli. The Doctor Who Scripts Project transcript has it as "At the moment it's, er, temporarily hord-a-comba..." which is a straight transcription of the sounds Billy is making, although the word makes no sense of course. If I were to be charitable, I would say it's the Doctor just mumbling to cover up his embarassment at not having a working colour television. But it's more likely a Billy fluff the rest of the cast continued to act over. --khaosworks (talk • contribs) 23:20, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

- Nation's original draft had him moaning about how he'd been sent packing from BBC Television Centre when he'd tried to get help fixing the colour there. I kid you not! Angmering 17:31, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
