[edit] Plot
The character known as "The Wrecker" causes the same train (The Hurricane Express) to crash so that he can steal a shipment of gold that it's carrying. Another character (Frank Stratton) working with John Wayne's character steals the gold shipment himself and keeps it as leverage so that evidence that clears him of a past crime comes out into the open. The manager of the railroad company that owns the Hurricane Express along with numerous other characters is killed in the film. It is revealed at the end of the film that the character named Stevens, who was the railroad manager's right hand man, was The Wrecker. Frank Stratton and Mr. Gray (the airline manager) merge the railroad and airline companies and John Wayne's character is back with the company as the chief pilot.
