Thing-Thing Arena is an online flash game. It is the 3rd game to be released in the Thing-Thing series created by Sean McGee of Diseased Productions. The game plays like a 2-D side scroller, but is also similar to a first-person-shooter in the sense that it incorporates both movement and aiming controls with the use of a gun. It features arena style death matches unlike the other games in the series which feature a storyline and adventure mode. There are 4 different modes to play:

[edit] Survival Mode
Your standard "stay alive" mode. Enemies are other 'Thing Things' who wield light weaponry, who drop health and weapons when killed. Basically, you just kill and try to stay alive for the longest time possible. Some weapons prove more effective in this mode than others. If you are trying your best to dodge bullets, try to stay airborne as long as possible. This technique requires that you are able to keep your weapon trained on your opponents while moving through the air.
[edit] Zombie Survival
Survival against an increasing flow of Zombie Thing Things, who are faster, are able to do high amounts of damage, and drop less items. At the start of Zombie Survival, you are only equipped with a SPAS-12 and 9,999 rounds of ammo, and zombies only drop health packs. Zombies are only mostly able to perform melee attacks, but sometimes you see one using a pistol.

Enemy Thing Things spawn faster and have more firepower. Your character starts with 20 Gyro-Jet Rockets and 30 Armscor 40 mm MGL Grenades. It helps to use your explosive weaponry to gain you weapons that have a high fire rate and good damage capabilities, such as the Jackhammer or the Thompson SMG. As soon as you gain any of these weapons, try to stay airborne while peppering your enemies with fire from above.
[edit] Stinky Bean Survival
Survival against an onslaught of 'Stinky Beans', small bean-like characters wearing Fez hats. They are fairly unintelligent but attack in large numbers, though their attack power is very weak. (The Stinky Bean character has his very own Flash game, also created by Diseased Productions.) A good technique for killing stinky beans is waiting until there is a lot of enemies on screen and then continuously jumping over the crowds of stinky beans. The beans will follow you in your general direction until they are all beside each other and appear as one stinky bean. Then, use a weapon such as the Magnum, Gyro jet, or the SPAS-12 to nail them where they are, then repeat.

1911 Custom - A fairly weak pistol with slow firing speed that barely gets the job done; Better used when few enemies are on screen. You start with 50 Rounds on every Survival except Zombie Survival.
Beretta 92FS - A slightly more powerful pistol then the 1911 Custom, however it still doesn't have the firepower to keep most enemies at bay.
Walther P-99 - Better firepower then both handguns above, the Walther P-99 has just enough strength to be useful in heated fights.
S&W .500 Magnum - A revolver that can kill most enemies in a few shots, though it's firing speed is quite slow and it has high recoil.
Bizon SMG - A sub-machine gun with fire-power comparable to the Walther P-99 in power. It has a decent firing speed, but still a good choice in fights.
VP-70 - Another SMG, except this one fires in a 3-round burst. Most enemies will be done in a few bursts, however the lag-time between bursts is a bit too long for it to be affective.
Thompson SMG - A classic 'Tommy Gun' with more power then the Bizon SMG. The Thompson fire's at a good rate, and gets the job done in many cases.
CZ-75 Select Fire - A automatic pistol with surprising amounts of power. It's one of the fastest automatics, plus hardly any recoil makes it a good weapon in all situations.
SPAS-12 - A shotgun with fairly short range, it can take care of any enemies if they're close enough. On Zombie Survival you start with this gun and 9,999 rounds.
Double Barrel 12ga.(Gauge) - A 'shotgun' that is very powerful but very slow, the Double Barrel 12ga. can kill most enemies in one shot, except it uses 2 rounds per shot, therefore ammo being a concern.
Pancor Jackhammer- Basically a rapid firing SPAS 12, it is one of the most effective weapons in the game. Its rapid firing abilities allow the player to handle large crowds of any enemy with little problem. It is very useful in the Stinky Bean survival.
Gyro-Jet- A pistol that shoots rockets, kills most enemies with one shot. The rockets also do splash damage, making this weapon effective when shot into tight crowds of enemies.
Armscor 40 mm MGL- A Grenade Launcher, which fires small Grenades that explode on contact. You start with 30 Grenades on Super Survival.

The game also features world-wide score boards where players can compete for the top kill count.
