• Please don't leave watermarking or SVG queries on my talk page. I am in the process of reviewing my diagrams, it's easier and ultimately quicker for me to do it as I have the layered master files. I'm trying to actively review the quality and accuracy of my diagrams every 1, 6 and 12 months after they are made.

• On the subject of the SVG format: If I'm making an image from scratch with no shading, large size etc. then I should do it as an SVG. But if I've already drawn it, why waste time converting it to SVG. So please lets focus on creating new content rather than redrawing good old content in trivially different formats. Especially as my stuff is usually 3000x2000 pixels, much larger than any conventional screen resolution and able to be printed happily on A3 paper at a good resolution.

• I am presently using AWB to go through some 4400 mainspace articles which link into British Army. AWB is making spelling and formating corrections as it goes. On rare occasions AWB can make corrections for the worse. If it has done this and I haven't noticed it please accept my apologies. If you leave a note on my talk page I shall correct any mistakes asap. It takes roughly 15 seconds to load and edit a page, at this rate I shall be doing the run for at least the next week or so.

• I am trying to design a bot that will flag up and categorise articles which have not had a main space edit for over a year. This will help improve the relability of wikipedia by making sure articles are recent. However, I am no programmer and creating such a bot is proving extremely difficult. If you think you can in some way help I'd love to hear from you.

Please feel free to post any questions or requests for artwork on my talk page, I will try and answer them as soon as possible (usually the day you post them). If you have a request for custom artwork for a Wikipedia article please read the section below and post according to the format I’ve given. It will help speed up the process.

I first stumbled across Wikipedia in 2002 while I was at school with the helpful assistance of Google. It was a very different site back then and much has changed. From around 2005 I have been contributing silently. Now studying at University, I have decided to come out of my anonymous shell and put my name on my work, especially my artwork! This user page is an extension of that and you are welcome to view it as my curriculum vitae where Wikipedia is concerned.

I'm a Brighton & Hove based student of Biochemistry. I am also involved in creating diagrams especially of a medical nature for use here on Wikipedia. My interests are mostly medical and biochemical articles these days. Generally I steer clear of controversial articles but I can sometimes be seen around a few.

As you may be aware I make custom artwork such as diagrams, flow charts, graphs and maps for Wikipedia articles. Requesting me to do such a piece can take some considerable time depending on the size and nature of the picture. Generally it takes between 2-4 days for a simple diagram. More complex diagrams can take upwards of a week depending on how busy I am. Anyone can request for me to do a piece to assist an article. All you need to do is post the following information in this format on my talk page;

I will then review the subject matter you wish me to create a diagram for and get back in touch should I need any further assistance. Normally this is not necessary as with most diagrams it is simply a case of bringing the article to my attention and I will be able to clearly see why and where a diagram is needed. However if its a highly specific article then I will generally get in touch with you for more specific information.

I use a combination of Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 and Corel Painter IX.5 with a Wacom Intuos 2 graphics tablet to create my pieces. Some examples of my work can be found in my gallery.
