Spandau Ballet

Spandau Ballet on marraskuussa vuonna 1979 perustettu brittiläinen yhtye, jonka musiikissa oli ominaista funkin ja syntetisaattori-popin sekoitus saksofonisooloihin. Yhtyeen perustivat muusikko veljekset Gary Kemp (kitara) ja Martin Kemp (basso) yhdessä Tony Hadleyn (laulu), Steve Normanin (kitara, saksofoni ja perkussiot) ja John Keeblen (rummut) kanssa. Yhtye pääsi valtavirtaan kun se vaihtoi kasakka-puvut suht. normaaleihin pukuihin levyllä True (1983) ja tuli tunnetuksi Duran Duranin kilpailijana ja esiintyi vuonna 1985 Live Aidissa kuten Duran Durankin. Yhtye hajosi kuitenkin 1989. Suurimmat hitit yhtyeeltä ovat True, Gold ja Only When You Leave. Yhtye on suunnittelemassa comebackia, mutta yhtyeen laulaja Tony Hadley ei vielä ole pitänyt ajatuksesta.
