From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ørnov is a surname from the small town Elverum in Norway. Johnas Pedersen and his wife Anna Pedersen had problems with their mail getting stuck at others with same or similar surname. To avoid these problems they invented the name Ørnov. Their only son Ulf (single child) was the only one taking this name further. He on his side was married 3 times and got two sons in the first (Jan and Tom) and two sons in the last marriage (Roy and Geir).
