From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So what can I do for you, buddy? - CrazyRussian talk/email 00:44, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

You can change the New England article to this:
The New England region of the United States is located in the northeastern corner of the country. Boston is its most populous city, and the business and cultural hub for all but the Connecticut, which is oriented toward New York City. New England is made up of the following states:....
The 'editor' who changed it is clearly a New England fundamentalist who feels that everything revolves around Boston. I am in CT adn Boston is not on the radar. Why should it be since it is no where around here?
It already says "The region's most populous city, and historically its business and cultural center, is Boston. [1] In recent decades, urban expansion has also made the New York metropolitan area an important economic influence on southwestern Connecticut." How's that not what you want? You want to remove Southwestern? What are you trying to achieve, Jayone? - CrazyRussian talk/email 01:23, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

What are you guys trying to achieve? I will tell you what I am trying to achieve - it's called the truth. Boston is no business and surly no cultural hub for ANY part of CT. We don't talk like them, think like them or have anything in common with them. It's a nice city, but it is flat out wrong to say that Boston is the business and cultural hub for CT. All of the states around Boston, maybe. I noticed that RI only had it's capitol city as a hub, but CT does not need Boston because it really stand alone. We even have our own TV market which is not in the Boston area. There is no New England TV market by the way. CT is also in the NYC TV market. I mean, I have spelled it out loud and clear. There is no reason for anyone on here to stick with that line on this site other than putting out propaganda.

I am trying to not rock the boat. Tell me a version based closely on the current text which would satisfy you, please, and I will consider replacing it. - CrazyRussian talk/email 01:43, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Ok, but the version I gave was the exact same as the previous with the exception of "...Except for Connecticut." This new version over complicates the who article. I think the way I had it kept the essence of the previous article just with a correction.

Now here is what you ask:

The New England region of the United States is located in the northeastern corner of the country. It includes the states Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The most populous city is Boston.

[edit] Profanity

[edit] msg from the blocked user

Now do you see why I am pissed? You said that you would get back to me and possibly change the New England article, but you ignored me and I take that as a lie. Yanksox lied also. He lied about proof and guidelines. This site sucks and now I will have to keep going until you shut down every article.

[edit] Reply

Dude - newsflash - I have a job, a wife, 2 kids, a life, etc. I am not ALWAYS on wikipedia. Are you faulting me for logging off at 2AM last night before fulfilling your request? - not that I was obligated to do so ever! Now that you've returned to profanity and personal attacks, you have been blocked again. Come offend again - you will be blocked again. do NOT playu games. This is a serious project. Go edit something else. You'll return to New England after a month of constructive editing, and you can edit it then yourself. 18:28, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Cool, but if you are that busy, why do you guys spend such a great amount of time in opposing just ONE line change in an entire article? The change is simple. I saw no reason to even have anyone who is not trying to spread propaganda to even question it.

When did I oppose your change?!!? Yanksox and somebody else opposed it - I just came it to block you after you F-bombed all of them. Your identity as Jayone has been confirmed by our IP hackers, and you're liable to be blocked EVERY TIME you make a disruptive change to New England or curse anyone else out. My sincere suggestion to you is, if you want to participate in this project, register a new username after your 24 hour block expires, and contribute to article about which you don't have such strong feelings. Write about philosophy, or sharks, or Katrina, or your favorite hockey player - and you won't be in trouble with anyone. But come here to pursue an agenda - and you will be opposed by everyone. This is (hopefully) the last time I post to this page. Good bye. - CrazyRussian talk/email 18:59, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

So correcting the page and putting up truth is an agenda? What about the integrity of this site? How come you still did not change the article?

Because you simply did not deserve it. I don't do favors for profane vandals - CrazyRussian talk/email 01:01, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

So this (I am trying to not rock the boat. Tell me a version based closely on the current text which would satisfy you, please, and I will consider replacing it. - CrazyRussian talk/email 01:43, 19 June 2006 (UTC)) was a lie?

No, silly. It was before this!! - CrazyRussian talk/email 02:14, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

If that was BEFORE this(I am trying to not rock the boat. Tell me a version based closely on the current text which would satisfy you, please, and I will consider replacing it. - CrazyRussian talk/email 01:43, 19 June 2006 (UTC), then why are you arguing? You clearly bypassed that and took a civil approach. So far, all I keep getting from you dudes are lies and spins. If you don't spin it, you lie. Now you you are spinning... Who in their right mind can support such an entity? I still cannot beleive that you ask for donations...

Crzrussian isn't Wikipedia, he doesn't ask for donations. --mboverload@ 02:31, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Oh stop it. I told you I went to sleep, and when I got back you had already returned to profane vandalism. Btw, though I do not ask for donations, I happily accept them. Please direct it straight to my law school, in the memo write, for CrazyRussian's tuition bill. They'll know who that is, trust me. - CrazyRussian talk/email 02:52, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
