A Grande Família

A Grande Familia (The Big Family) is a critcally-acclaimed comedy and one of the most-watched shows in Brazil. The show is on air on Globo and tells the story of a typical lower middle-class family living in a suburb neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro.
The family consists of the working father, Lineu, the housewive mother, Nenem, the son Tuco, the daughter Bebel and Bebel's fiance, the typical carioca "malandro" and a taxi driver, Agostinho. There was also the grandpa, Floriano, but after the actor death, the character was killed too.
It is very acclaimed by critics and the audience alike and a movie will premier in January 10 of 2007.
