ABC Victoria

ABC Victoria is a statewide television network, airing the programs of the national broadcaster, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
The main station is ABV-2 Melbourne, with studios in Southbank and Elsternwick, and transmitter at Mount Dandenong. The station began broadcasting on 18 November 1956, and is transmitted throughout the state via a series of transmitters.
The schedule is the same as in other states and territories, other than time zone differences, local news and sport, and state election coverage.
The 7.00pm news bulletin is presented by Ian Henderson (weekdays), Paul Higgins (weather), and Kathy Bowlen (weekends), while Stateline is presented by Kathy Bowlen. Saturday afternoons during winter sees the broadcast of Victorian Football League football.
