Adhémar Raynault

Adhémar Raynault (July 12, 1891 - April 11, 1984) twice served as mayor of Montreal, Quebec, Canada: from 1936 to 1938, and from 1940 to 1944. In particular, he served as mayor during the period when Camillien Houde was interned for his wartime opposition to conscription.
Raynault was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Quebec in the 1936 election but did not run again in the 1939 election.
