Advantest Corporation (株式会社アドバンテスト Kabushiki-gaisha Adobantesuto?) (TYO: 6857 , NYSE: ATE) is a large Japanese supplier of automatic test equipment. They dominate the market for the testing of DRAM chips and are gaining market share in the system-on-a-chip (SOC) market. Based in Tokyo, the company had a gross turnover of 239 billion Yen in 2004 and is listed on the Tokyo and New York Stock Exchanges.
