"After the Garden" is a protest song written by Neil Young. It is the opening track on his 2006 album Living with War. The song starts with powerful chords played by Young, then the bass and drums kick in.
"After the Garden" protests the Bush administration's policy regarding global warming. Young is clearly upset how Bush and his cabinet do not acknowledge the problems that global warming presents. An environmental activist himself, Young presents the consequences of not taking action to combat global warming through the lyrics.
