[edit] Vino leaving T-Mobile
Vino has announced he will be leaving T-Mobile, but I'm not sure what should be done about his page. It looks like the paragraph written about the 2005 Tour was posted before his announcement, so maybe the speculation about his role in the T-Mobile team should be scrapped?
Does anyone know why his jersey and helmet weren't pink like the rest of team T-Mobile this past Tour de France?
- National champions are allowed to wear the colors of their national championship during the Tour, which Vino chose to do on all stages except the TTs, presumably because he only had a T-Mobile pink TT aerodynamic uniform --Serge 05:30, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
- Only current national time trial champions are allowed to wear their nations colours at the time trial events. This works the other way around too, as only the road racing winners are allowed the national tricot on the normal stages. Poulsen 09:29, 2 November 2005 (UTC)
- Oh! Makes sense. Thanks for clarifying that! --Serge 16:25, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

I am a very big fan of AV but this page reads like a campaign website to elect Vino to be the next president! Does not seem to have the impartiality, or objectivity, that one would expect from an encyclodpedia entry. Also the extremely detailed portion (2005 Tour de France) of Vino's last couple of days on a single day, in a single race, in a single season, in his entire career seems a tad bit too.... wordy. Too much info for a brief.
