The Asteroid Archipelago is a fictitious area of space in the DC Universe's future, in the time of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th century, on the edge of United Planets territory. There are a number of inhabited locations including at least one prominent research station.
The area was frequently menaced by the Khund, and Mon-El almost made a habit out of rescuing them from the Khunds and other threats. He even arranged to spend some of his infrequent vacation time there once, much to the annoyance of Shadow Lass.
Prior to joining the legion, Dawnstar made a living guiding ships through this area and others like it.
Note - not strictly a planet, but a collection of asteroids and planetoids, and such analogous to an island archipelago.
