Namli Maira a village located in Abbottabad distric, some 20kilometer away from abbottabad.Namli Maira is a cup shaped area covered by mountain all around.Mountain are covered with forest.The winter are long and summer are short here.Winter start from october to april.In summer rainy season take place from mid july to late august. As it is above from sea level weather is extream cold in winter.Temprature some time fall in minus.Mostly the people of Namli Maira belong to karlaal Tribe.Karlaal are in majorty. But there are also some other coast too.which are ,Mughal,Malik, Raja and Awan.People are religious, even there is no single non Muslim.Most occupation of the people is farming. Litrecy.The rate of litrecy is about 75%.There are English Medium Schoolas well as urdu medium too. The major crop grown here are Maize And Potato.Which are found in abundance.In summer beans and pumpkin are also valuable vegetable.In winter people grew raddish, turnip, wheat etc.Fruit like pear , apple ,apricot,grapes,black grapes are also found here.
