Baindur is small town in Kundapura Taluk of Udupi district in the state of Karnataka, India. It lies on the National Highway NH-17 which connects Mumbai in Maharashtra state to Mangalore in Karnataka state. Baindur lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea very close to the border of Udupi district with Uttara Kannada district. Baindur has a railway station that lies on the Konkan Railway
