[edit] A Serious Waste of Time
A Serious Waste of Time (ASWoT) is the largest game at RPoL, with well over 200,000 posts and over one hundred players. ASWoT is itself comprised of numerous smaller games of various types, such as Alphabet Conversation (each post must be made with the next letter of the alphabet) and Question Tennis (each post must be in the form of a question). Since ASWoT is part of RPoL, a roleplaying site, virtually all of its characters portray a wide varient of personas and physical characteristics.

ASWoT was created by a member of RPoL who called himself Despyzer in 2002. ASWoT is now run by Yoss with co-GM staff of FourLegged, Germ Ant, despyzer and Leah (both of the latter are currently inactive). By the request of the RPoL staff, ASWoT recently began trimming its post count back, archiving most of its posts on a seperate site.
