Belle Vue Motorcycle Speedway is a motorcycle speedway track in Manchester, England and home to the Belle Vue Aces, a team that produced 5 Speedway World Champions. Racing first took place in 1928 at the Belle Vue greyhound stadium before moving the following year to a specially built stadium nearby in Hyde Road. The club raced there until 1987 when the stadium was demolished. The club moved to a new track at its original home and remains there to this day.[1]
Belle Vue were the only track to continue operating through World War II.[2]
