Belmont Shore is an upscale neighborhood in Long Beach, California. It is bounded by Ocean Boulevard on the south, Bay Shore Avenue on the east, Ximeno Avenue on the west, and Broadway on the north. Belmont Heights is to the north and west, with Naples and the Peninsula to the east. To the south is the Pacific Ocean
Second Street is the main shopping district in Belmont Shore. It includes many independently-owned shops such as Polly's Gourmet Coffee and restaurants, as well as a handful of well known businesses such as Banana Republic, Starbucks (2), and Rite-Aid.
The Belmont Shore Business association supports local businesses and students from Cal state Long Beach can often be found walking down 2nd street.
