Buck the World is the sophomore album of Nashville rapper Young Buck. Its title is a play on the expression "Fuck the World". It was released on March 27, 2007.
Buck the World was released worldwide and on iTunes on March 27, 2007. Production includes Dr. Dre, Jazze Pha, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Polow Da Don, and Lil Jon amongst others. Guest appearances include 50 Cent, Young Jeezy, Bun B, Trick Daddy, and Lyfe Jennings amongst others. Many of the album's tracks feature a harder, DMX-like flow from Young Buck, yet many other songs feature more of an R&B tone.
The first single was "I Know You Want Me" produced by Jazze Pha, who also made a guest appearance on the track. The second single was "Get Buck", produced by Polow Da Don. The third single was be "4 Kings", featuring Young Jeezy, T.I., and Pimp C. The fourth single will be "Slow Ya Roll" which features Linkin Park's lead vocalist, Chester Bennington. The video for the single will be shot in Detroit.
The iTunes version replaces "Lose My Mind"/"Funeral Music" with just "Funeral Music", only 3:15 in length.
Buck the World debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, behind Tim McGraw's Let It Go (325,000) and Now That's What I Call Music! 24 (230,000), with sales (140,000).[1]
