Burger sauce
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Burger Sauce is a sauce made from a combination of ketchup and mayonnaise with other relishes. It is used on Hamburgers and in fast food restaurants such as McDonald's or Burger King. Burger sauce has had growing popularity in the south of the United Kingdom particularly in fish and chip shops.[citation needed]
Kraft Foods and Hellmann's/Best Foods both produce Burger Sauce products.
Burger sauce can also be a combination of Ketchup (tomato sauce) and weak mustard, with or without mayonnaise. Since it's growing popularity to be had with foods other than just burgers (eg. Kebabs, Chips, Pizza) it can be bought in most large supermarkets alongside ketchup, and even trace gluten free versions are available.
