California's 45th congressional district

California's 45th congressional district covers part of Riverside County. It includes the communities of Palm Springs, Moreno Valley, Palm Desert, Hemet, Cathedral City, Temecula, Blythe, Rancho Mirage, Murrieta, Indio, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Cabazon, Anza, Thermal, Idyllwild, Coachella, and other unincorporated areas of Riverside County.
The 45th District is currently represented by Congresswoman Mary Bono. George W. Bush received 56% of the vote in this district in 2004. The district has a Cook Partisan Voting Index score of R +3.
It is one of 53 California Congressional Districts.
