Camilla de Castro (born Alessandro Caetano Kothenborger, April 20, 1979 in São Paulo - July 26, 2005 in São Paulo) was a Brazilian model and actress.

She worked with a number of photographers and had a regular spot on a Brazilian television show, Superpop. She was respected and admired throughout the transgender adult entertainment community. At the time of her death, she was in negotiations to become the host of a new reality TV show in Brazil.

de Castro is alleged to have committed suicide when she leapt from her 8th-story apartment although the details surrounding her death are unresolved. Drugs and a (never substantiated) suspicion of a HIV+ diagnosis were involved in the circumstances of her death. She had announced her engagement to her boyfriend one month before, on June 26.[1]
