User CdnStar is an enthusiastic history buff from Canada who enjoys all things Balkan - well, mainly those things relating to the following areas of the Former Yugoslavia: Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Kosovo.
Residing in Ottawa Ontario, CdnStar is slowly aging in the same old city. While a beautiful city it is, it is certainly no Belgrade, and CdnStar can attest to this, as she has been there.
CdnStar is new to editing Wikipedia, and intends to start soon - just as soon as she learns how this syntax works. It has been noted that about 1/5 of all things searched on Wikipedia don't seem to have entries. This needs to be remedied. As well, CdnStar feels she has much information and expertise in the field of history and research that could be put to good use here.
The user has an unnatural interest / obsession with all things Serbian, including the culture, language, food, people and music. Due to this interest, CdnStar spent two years living in Serbia and wishes to someday go back.
As well, CdnStar wishes to improve upon her Serbian language skills, as they are currently very minimal, and limited to basic conversation. Sadly, she has noone to teach her.
Besides Serbia, CdnStar enjoys food, her computer and a good foreign film. High on the list of foods she likes are ćevapčići, cheesecake and shawarma.
Finally, CdnStar aspires to one day be a full-fledged certified accountant, but since she is still a student, she is currently poor and overburdened with schoolwork and life.
