[edit] Possible Inacuracy
I am comfused by the figure under Geography that states that "estimates of the amount of the country covered by forest ranges up to 75%". I do not know where the 75% came from; it is not cited and according to [1], "CAR has a relatively small area of forest — around five million hectares — corresponding to 8% of the country’s territory." Could someone please find the right number? Thanks. --Queenrani 22:21, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Frosty relations with its neighbor Niger?
CAR and Niger don't share a border. What is this supposed to say?
Maybe it means neighbor in the sense that they are in the same general region. However, I could not find any examples of frosty relations at all; this fact needs a citation to back it up.
[edit] Proposed WikiProject
In my ongoing efforts to try to include every country on the planet included in the scope of a WikiProject, I have proposed a new project on Middle Africa at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals#Middle Africa whose scope would include Central African Republic. Any interested parties are more than welcome to add their names there, so we can see if there is enough interest to start such a project. Thank you for your attention.
