[edit] District
As you might expect, this land of geographic splender is no longer a secret. Chisago County is growing, from 30,500 in 1990 to more than 42,000 today. Like the county, Chisago Lakes School District is also growing. The 165 square-mile district is home to nearly 3,600 students (K-12) and their families. The district consists of three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and a charter school. The school district is proud of its tradition of excellence in academics, fine arts, community educations and extracurricular activities.
