Christina Hendricks (born Christine Elise McCarthy on May 3, 1978 in Knoxville, Tennessee) is an American actress. She was raised in Twin Falls, Idaho since the age of four. As an actress, she made her mark in a number of guest TV appearances. Hendricks' first television break came when she became a regular in the series Beggars & Choosers. Since then, she starred in the series The Big Time and The Court, opposite Sally Field and Craig Bierko, as well as the law drama Kevin Hill. She also had recurring roles in ER and Firefly. She guest starred in episodes of Angel, Miss Match, Tru Calling, Presidio Med, Without a Trace, and Las Vegas
Hendricks was interviewed about her role as the con-artist Saffron in Firefly in episode 24 (September 26, 2005) of GeeksOn, a geek-themed podcast. Her brother, Aaron Hendricks, is one of the hosts of GeeksOn.
Henricks is 1.73m (5'8") tall.
