[edit] Plagiarism?
This article is almost exactly the same, word for word, as an article on About.com (http://experts.about.com/e/c/cl/Clara_Petacci.htm). Which one came from which? --24.205.251.41 23:13, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

- This article appears to be a plagiarized work virtually verbatim, as the unknown user here pointed out last August. How he/she determined the connection to the original work on About.com remains a mystery as they were unsure of which was published first. T.E. Goodwin 09:48, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

- The same article at About.com now links to the Wikipedia article. About.com states it has reproduced the Wikipedia article about Clara Petacci under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License. Colenso 13:29, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
User:Colenso is 100% correct. This does not indicate plagiarism ( . . . not on the Wikipedia side anyway). Please do a little test. Edit any article. Do something relatively meaningless that only you might notice (please change something relatively harmless and please change it back later). Then do a search for the same subject in "about.com" (or any one many similar sites). You should see your change reflected almost immediately. Some of these sites take more time than others. But they all pull content FROM the Wikipedia articles and not the other way around. From my perspective, I find it annoying that I often circle back on my own article when searching the Internet. But that is why we reference BOOKS. Best wishes to all. Mkpumphrey 00:21, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
