Clinton, Kansas, USA is an unincorporated grouping of dwellings currently situated on a peninsula in the middle of Clinton Lake. Clinton was one of the first settlements in Douglas County, KS established about June of 1854. The most prominent structure is the Clinton Presbyterian Church which was erected in 1865. Today, Clinton is the gateway village to Clinton State Park which is located about one mile east of the Clinton Store.
