[edit] Witch trials
Per your post at the Village Pump I attempted to work with this editor and have now nominated the article for deletion. Regards, Durova 21:19, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hollywood Undead
Yo. Please don't just declare my edits to be vandalism; I always try to edit in good faith. Anyway, do you really think that a link to their Myspace page is appropriate for referencing their video, as compared to [1] a link to the video itself? - CorbinSimpson 21:46, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Oklahoma
Hey, another Oklahoman on here. What university are you going to for journalism? I don't know if you'd be interested, but check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Oklahoma to help improve Oklahoma-related articles. Ash Lux (talk | contribs) 00:28, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'm rather embarassed to admit it, but I'm attending OBU in Shawnee. You're at OSU, right? - CNichols 00:31, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Well, OBU is a rather fundamentalist Baptist school; some of it's academic stances are rather dodgy. I'm attending for family reasons. - CNichols 02:12, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- That does seem like it would be the nature of a Baptist school. Heard about some protests by some gay 'rights' activists [2]. I'm sure that was a lot of fun to watch :-P Funny, Oklahoma Baptist University article kinda... sucks. I just threw {{reqphotoin}} onto the talk pages if you have a camera. =) How long have you been editing Wikipedia? -- Ash Lux (talk | contribs) 02:46, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry it took so long to get back - my computer access is limited. Yeah, the OBU article is pretty much just a redigested press packet - very lame. If I can snag a digital camera, I'll try taking some photos for the article. I started editing Wikipedia in July 2005, starting with Memory palace. Mostly I clean-up vandalisms I spot on the Recent Changes page. How long have you been editing Wikipedia? What was your first contribution? - CNichols 17:07, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- On this account, my first edit (on this account) was on November 16, 2004 at 17:14 on Pat Smith followed by Eddie Sutton. My first edit was most likely Ratatouille (film) under an anonymous IP at OSU 139.78.11.1. I think I've developed a bit of an obsession since I've had 1891 total edits - most have come recently. Thanks for taking the time to get some pictures (I don't have to be a fan of the school to help make the article better). :-P -- Ash Lux (talk | contribs) 17:36, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Oh yah, since you like to revert vandalism, check out WP:VandalProof. Neat application if you're using windows (haven't tested it with wine) under Linux yet :P -- Ash Lux (talk | contribs) 17:40, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
