[edit] The Cobb Switch Monster
In this little community some strange things happen, from calves carried off to strange noises through the woods at night and the occasional near sighting of something large and hairy in the forest area. While little is know about the creature(s), the residents have mostly decided to leave whatever walks the land in peace.
[edit] Education
Mostly served by Terrell & Wills Point presently, Cobb Switch did at one time have its own schoolhouse (1850s to 1920s). Evidence of the road leading to the schoolhouse can still be seen today on county road 350
