County Route 23 is an 11.0-mile north/south county route in the eastern part of Rockland County, New York. CR 23 runs through residential and rural areas New City, West Nyack, Blauvelt, and Orangeburg. It has junctions with a few state highways in the county. The road begins at CR 90 just south of Hi-Tor State Park at the northern outskirts of New City, and ends at New Jersey border, at Orangeburg Road, in Orangeburg and Old Tappan, New Jersey. A four mile stretch runs on the western shore of Lake DeForest.
