Damian is a fictional character in the DC Comics Universe. He is allegedly the son of Batman and Talia al Ghul, from events similar to those in the previously thought non-canon story Batman: Son of the Demon (although it appears to still be out of continuity). Damian is characterized by primal feelings brought about by rigorous martial arts training. The character was created by Grant Morrison for his run on Batman beginning with issue #655, Batman and Son.
Raised by Talia and the League of Assassins, Damian becomes a talented martial artist by the time he's a pre-teen, at which time Talia reveals Damian's existence to his father and leaves him in Batman's custody in an effort to disrupt his work. Precocious, spoiled, and violent, Damian battles Robin (Tim Drake) and sucker punches him to his defeat. Grounded by Batman, he escapes and decapitates the villainous Spook while wearing a variant Robin costume. Although misguided and malicious, Damian seems to genuinely want to aid his father's war on crime. Eventually, Batman confronts Talia and both Talia and Damian are soon caught in an explosion. Their current fates are unknown.
Batman #666 is scheduled feature an adult Damian Wayne as Batman.[1]
