The player gets to choose from 4 characters (Philip, James, Eddie and Gary).
Items grant health or bonus points.
The amount of enemies is increased with (nearly) every stage (multiplayer in brackets):
- stage 1: 30 (50)
- stage 2: 40 (60)
- stage 3: 50 (70)
- stage 4: 60 (80)
- stage 5: 60 (80)
- stage 6: 65 (85)
- stage 7: 65 (85)
- stage 8: 70 (90)
There are 8 levels. The last three enemies of every stage are a boss and his two bodyguards. The 8th level holds four bosses (1 at the start, 1 at the end, 2 in the middle)
Although KLOV states the game was for up to 4 players, I've only found 2-player versions of the game in accordance with what can be found at MAWS. --elias.hc 13:23, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
