Derek Armstrong

Derek Armstrong (Born April 23, 1973 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian Professional Hockey Centerman in the National Hockey League who has played for the New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings.

[edit] Playing Career
Last season Armstrong played for the Los Angeles Kings. He has also played for the New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, and the New York Rangers. He was drafted by the Islanders in the 6th round, 128th overall in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. His best season was 2005-06 when he had 41 points. He is, however, on pace to break this career best in the 2006-07 season, with 31 points through 44 games (as of January 18).
