Kind of tangential, but Fitzgerald didn't write The Great Gatsby in Los Angeles. As the book's article states, he wrote it in Great Neck, New York. As far as I can tell, he never even LIVED in Los Angeles. I've changed the article to reflect this. I also tidied some grammar here and there, but this article's looking really good! - I can find one reference to him having written it there [1], but since it's the only one they might be in error.--Fallout boy 21:25, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Actress?
Why this lady where`s the same cothes in ever movie? Is it at all possible to call her an actress instead of an actor? Mad Jack O'Lantern 06:48, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- An actor is a person who acts, regardless of gender. An actress is implicitly female. I prefer using actor mainly because it's considered more grammatically correct. [2] But it is a minor detail, and if someone wants to change it to actress I won't put up a fight over it.--Fallout boy 16:34, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- Well, you wouldn't call her a steward, as opposed to a stewardess, on a plane? Mad Jack O'Lantern 20:57, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

- Well, you get my point. :) Mad Jack O'Lantern 21:33, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- Keeping on touch with the actor thing. The opening of the article reads, "Diane is an American producer, director, and actor. I think it would make more sense if it was, "actor, director, producer" seeing as how she is more well known as an actor(actress). I'm gonna change it.

An actor isn't someone who acts; an actor is a man/male/boy who acts. It really should be actress, using the proper gender from. Calling her an actor would imply a penectomy of sorts. 81.208.161.198 12:12, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
Didn't Keaton direct an episode of Twin Peaks in the early 90's?
- Yes, she did. That is mentioned in the last paragraph of the 1980s section.--Fallout boy 18:21, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Atheist and Methodist?
I understand she was raised a Methodist, but if she's an atheist now, shouldn't she be removed from the category? Bhumiya (said/done) 00:26, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
- I guess that makes sense. Mad Jack O'Lantern 01:11, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Commendation
This is, in my opinion, an interesting and well written article about an actor. That just about straightened up my impression of wikipedia's featured article selection! It was a big disappointment for me when wikipedia's front page one day not long ago featured the not quite so well-written Katie Holmes article. I'm sure some of you remember that goof. - Hear hear! Beautifully written, very informative. I will use this as a reference in my future Wiki writing!DC 13:48, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! :) --Fallout boy 18:24, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
Great article, fully deserving of its FA status. Diane Keaton is one of my favorite actresses and it heartens me that there is an article in WP worthy of her. Great job! RashBold Talk 19:42, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Because I Said So (2007 film) - FAs
Said movie may mark a first - the first film where we have FA articles on both leading actors (and both actors on the poster) - Keaton and Mandy Moore. Mad Jack 00:06, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Children?
Why aren't there any mention of her kids? I think she has adopted at least two, one of them named Duke.
[edit] Personal Life
- What about her relationship with Al Pacino. Wasn't that a pretty significant part of her life. Does anybody know any of the details of there relationship? annoynmous 06:13, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
