[edit] 52nd General Assembly of Nova Scotia
The List of Nova Scotia General Assemblies had an extra 1981 session in it. I've removed some of the questionable session numbers from the page, but I can't see what happened in the list because there are only 59 sessions listed. Maybe there was another election in there with an assembly (possibly during WWI or WWII)?
I've removed the questionable session numbering where I can't find a source online. Your 52nd General Assembly of Nova Scotia was one of these. I think it should be renamed as the 53rd session.

- Hey! Yeah I was confused about these myself at one point - My source The Legislative Assembly of Nova Scotia, 1758-1983 : a biographical directory by Shirley B. Elliott - it was published originally in the 1950s, originally compiled by the Nova Scotia Archives and then updated again in the 1980s. It should be available at all major libraries both public and university. That is the authoritative source on who sat in the legislature and also when they were held. --Disasternat 17:16, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
