Dr. and Mrs. Arthur William Phillips Charitable Trust Foundation

The Dr. and Mrs. Arthur William Phillips Charitable Trust Foundation is a trust fund foundation that provides university education for the young people of the state of Pennsylvania (particularly in the Erie area). They also sponsor programming for the elderly, like the Lawrence Welk Show, for example. Mrs. Arthur William Phillips is an elderly housewife, and thus, has no actual control over the foundation. The foundation is run out of Oil City, Pennsylvania where the doctor and his wife live.
In addition to public broadcasting, the Arthur Phillips have also donated to Clarion University, and the Girl Scouts of the USA of Western Pennsylvania.
