Dubai has good rulers and one of them are Shieck Mohammed, and it is because this person's open mind, Dubai Internet City was created and he has a wonderful website translated to more than 6 languages it is www.shiekhmohammed.com Sam wfaris2003@yahoo.com

Dubai Media City turned out to be more successful than DIC and therefore should not merged with DIC. Work on Dubai Studio City has already started, this clearly came out of the sucesses of DMC.

Most of the regional brodcasters are actually doing work i.e million dollar brodcast facilities set up by the likes of Showtime Arabia, MBC, Ten Sports (Taj TV), Dubai TV, ARY Digital Network, Geo TV, at DMC unlike DIC where they mostly have sales and rep offices.

Absolutely. While top management is the same, due to completely different target markets and difference in clientele it does not make sense to merge them.

I wonder why nobody at Dubai Internet City noticed that "DIC" is not a very good acronym to use in english (it sounds like "dick" ...) Sbwoodside 19:49, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
