Changed the blue slightly to match the blue on Image:Flag of the United Kingdom.svg. UK Blue and Aus Blue are indeed the same blue (Pantone 280C), unlike UK Red and Aus Red--left the red alone. Greentubing 01:26, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

This image was created in Australia and is now in the public domain because its term of copyright has expired. According to the Australian Copyright Council (ACC), ACC Information Sheet G23 (Duration of copyright) (Sep 2005). See here for the types of materials that are in the Public domain. The flag of Australia, on which this is based, is from 1904. That the background on this flag was made white, is believe not to be copyright eligible.
