East Coast Lacrosse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
East Coast Lacrosse (Norwich) is the answer to an increasing demand for competition lacrosse in East Anglia, born out of the frustration of lack of competitive lacrosse in the region. Michael Person and Carl-Michael Carey, former University of East Anglia students and mens lacrosse players, created East Coast Lacrosse, in 2006, to bring non-exclusive, friendly and competition level lacrosse to Norwich and the Eastern region. Prior to East Coast Lacrosse, the only real outlets for competitive lacrosse in the region were the University of East Anglia and Cambridge University.
The Club run a men's team and compete in the SEMLA East division 2. Plans are a foot to expand the club in 2007 to incorporate both Mixed and Womens lacrosse.
