Edward W. Stack has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dick's Sporting Goods since 1984 when the founder and Edward Stack's father, Richard ôDickö Stack,Dick Stack retired from the Company's then two store chain. Mr. Edward Stack has served the Company full time since 1977 in a variety of positions, including President, Store Manager and Merchandise Manager.
